APPLICATION

Clean Bond application is a 2-step process: The cleaning step and the bonding step.

Cleaning Step:

  1. Prepare surfaces as normal by removing loose or flaked rust and other debris.
  2. Mix Clean Bond at a 1 :9 ratio with water (one quart of Clean Bond to 9 quarts water).
  3. Spray mixture onto surfaces.
  4. Scrub the surfaces using a clean broom or scrub brush with a long handle to remove oils and disperse and remove small particles left from the initial cleaning. This cleaning step prepares the way for the next step.
  5. Rinse thoroughly to flush lifted oils and particles down the drain, and then wet-vac to remove pools of water that may remain.

Bonding Step:

  1. Apply concentrated Clean Bond to the surfaces to be coated with ta pump-up sprayer. The concentrate delivers a laboratory developed bonding agent that moleculary bonds to the metal and has great affinity for the Pancrete.
  2. This helps insure the utmost in bonding strength.

  3. One gallon covers about 400 square feet. Damp surfaces are what you are after. Spraying is quick and easy.
  4. Rinse the surface after 10 to 15 minutes and wet-vac or let dry. Then apply Pancrete as recommended.
